All this at a time when people in the private sector are losing their jobs or have taken significant salary cuts just to keep their jobs. Lowering salaries across the board in keeping with the financial hardship of the town's tax base would be the moral and sensible way to go.

Comment on DailyHarrison: Pinho Blasts Mayor's Move

What you posted is from the heart and will make the people close to the mayor think twice before they give him a yes answer that maybe shouldn't be a yes answer.

Comment on Commuters:Special Meeting Tuesday

I was under the impression that the Oct. 26th meeting ended early when Mayor McDonough walked out around 7:30 PM. Did I miss the rest of the meeting? What happened with the resolutions related to giving Harrison Commons $8 mm in construction financing? Did this go through without public input?

Comment on Harrison To Pay for Red Bull Lighting

You can comment without leaving your email simply leave the field blank.

Comment on Red Bulls Assessed $2.1 Million in Taxes

Please note that you can enter a comment without having to provide an email.

Comment on Red Bulls Assessed $2.1 Million in Taxes

You can request same from Paul Zarbetski the Town Clerk and Attorney by calling him at (973) 268-2425 or Fax: (973) 482-2101

Comment on Red Bulls Assessed $2.1 Million in Taxes

If the town of Harrison is the land owner, are the Red Bulls paying anything to the town for rent? The Mayor, Margaret Powell (tax collector) and Beth Higgins (finance officer) didn't know that CJUF had filed a tax appeal. Mr. Pinho keep up the good work. We need real leadership not puppets. The Redevelopers pull the string and the Mayor's arm goes up followed by the other council members. Yes Mayor Yes Yes Yes They tabled the Harrison Common resolutions because they knew you were going to question them.

Comment on Chaotic Harrison Council Meeting

Mayor McDonough will get back to you.
