Columbus Takes On Red Bulls Sat. 3/18/23 at 7:30 p.m. at Red Bulls
Mar 18, 2023The Columbus Crew MLS team will be coming to Harrison NJ to take on the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. The Columbus Crew based out of Columbus, Ohio was one of the 10 charter clubs of the Major League Soccer formed in 1996. The team is owned by a group led by the Haslam Family who are owners of the Cleveland Browns and Pilot Corporation and Pete Edwards who was a former team physician.
The Columbus Crew’s home stadium is Lower.com Field which opened in 2021. The Lower.com Field located in Columbus, Ohio can seat 20,371 fans and includes 30 suites and 1,900 club seats The Lower.com Field is a comparable soccer-specific stadium to the Red Bulls Arena.
The Lower.com Field cost $314 million to build. It is located adjacent to Downtown Columbus Ohio and the Arena District and a mixed-use Astor Park development. Another parallel to the Red Bulls Arena. Let’s hope the Columbus Ohio elected officials built some road infrastructure that helps residents avoid traffic delays and gridlock on game days. Harrison residents are still waiting for the road improvements including the long-promised Route 280 / Cape May Street interchange.
