In Memoriam: Harrison Firefighter Vincent J. Doffont Jr.

Harrison Firefighter Vincent Doffont, a five-year veteran of the Harrison Fire Department, passed suddenly at the Fire Station over this weekend. Funeral arrangement details have not been finalized. 

Doffont was a United States Marine veteran having served in combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq and been awarded the Purple Heart during his service.  In addition, Doffont received the Naval Sea Service and National Defense Ribbon, a Unit Citation Award, Good Conduct Award, and the US Navy-Marine Corps Medal of Honor.  Doffont was a rifleman. Doffont joined the Harrison Fire Department in 2017.

At this time, Funeral arrangements have not been finalized.  YourHarrison will provide the funeral arrangements once they are made public.  Our condolences to the family, fellow Firefighters, and friends.
