Kearny HS Band & Cheerleaders in St. Patrick's Day Parade (Video)

Amidst a sea of green, the Kearny High School Band and Cheerleaders dressed in red brought their spirited energy to the streets as they marched in the United Irish St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday, March 10, 2024. From Harrison through East Newark and back to their hometown of Kearny, New Jersey, the students showcased their talent and enthusiasm, earning cheers and applause from spectators along the route. 

Kearny High School, nestled in the heart of Kearny, New Jersey, boasts a diverse student body and a vibrant array of extracurricular activities. With approximately 1,800 students enrolled, Kearny High is known for its strong sense of community and commitment to academic excellence. 

Among the standout programs at Kearny High are the Cheerleaders and Musical programs, which have garnered praise for their dedication and talent. The Kearny High School Cheerleaders program comprises a dedicated group of students who embody athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit. Throughout the year, the cheerleaders uplift their peers at sporting events and pep rallies, showcasing their skills and spreading enthusiasm throughout the school community. 

Meanwhile, the Kearny High School Musical program continues to captivate audiences with its annual productions. From classic Broadway hits to contemporary favorites, the talented performers at Kearny High bring music and theater to life on stage, showcasing their passion and creativity. 

In the United Irish St. Patrick's Day parade, the Kearny High School Band and Cheerleaders dazzled spectators with their synchronized routines and musical performances. Clad in their uniforms, the students marched proudly, representing their school and community with pride.
