Marvel Super Heroes & Red Bulls Soccer Sat. August 13, 2022

The New York Red Bulls will play Orlando City at the Red Bulls Arena, on Saturday, August 13, 2022, starting at 6:00 p.m. (ET).  You want to arrive early with the kids for pregame photos with their favorite Marvel Super Heroes^TM  before the match outside the stadium in the Bullevard area.  Among the Super Heroes^TM will be Black Panther, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Iron Man, Spider Man, and Thor. Daredevil can’t make it because the Marvel marketing folks cannot see the benefit of including a character with a disability but a tremendous sixth sense akin to radar. Go figure. Exploria Stadium in  Downtown Orlando Florida

The Orlando City SC team is based out of sunny Orlando, Florida.  In 2015 Orlando City joined Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Eastern Conference. The Orlando City SC’s home stadium is the Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando, Florida.  The Exploria Stadium seats 500 more fans than the Red Bulls Arena with seats for 25,500 fans.

A little over a year ago in July of 2021, the Wilf family became the majority owner of the Orlando City SC along with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) affiliate club, the Orlando Pride. Three of the principal members of the Wilf family, Mark Wilf, Zygi Wilf, and Lenny Wilf, have taken management responsibilities with the acquisition.  The Wilf family also owns the National Football League team, the Minnesota Vikings, and a family-owned real estate company called Garden Homes.  Unlike the New York Red Bulls who lease the property that the Red Bulls Arena sits on, the Wilf family owns both the property and the Orlando City SC home stadium, the Exploria Stadium in Orlando Florida. The prior owner of the Orlando City SC organization the DeVos Family will continue to participate in the organization as a Limited Partner.

The first 10,000 fans to attend the Marvel Super Hero^TM Night will receive a limited edition RBNY x Marvel Character Comic Book Cover poster depicting Red Bull Soccer players and Marvel Super Heroes. 

In addition, the first 7500 fans will receive a Tyler Adams X Captain America inspired Bobblehead.

The game is presented by Marvel and the Hackensack Meridian Health organizations.
