In 2022, the Peruvian Civic Association members marched in frigid weather to support the United Irish's annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. Despite challenges like ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks, the United Irish went ahead with their parade, uplifting the community. Last year, the United Irish reciprocated by marching in the Peruvian Parade on a very hot day, reflecting the mutual respect and common ground among the diverse immigrant communities in West Hudson.
