Postponed: Gotham FC Home Opener v. North Carolina Courage

Gotham FC Home Opener against the North Carolina Courage on Saturday, May 14, 2022 with a 7 p.m. start was postponed to a later to be announced date. NJ/NY Gotham FC Soccer Team announced on its website that the Home Opener Game was postponed due to Covid 19 protocols.
There was no further information regarding whether there were players or staff who had tested positive for Covid 19 or whether the level of infection spread in New Jersey had risen to a level requiring the postponement of the game at this time. Surely this was a disappointing turn of events for the players and fans alike. There was good momentum building up for the game. You could feel the excitement in the area especially in West Hudson.
We hope that if some players or staff have contracted Covid 19 that they have a full recovery. Covid 19 continues to impact everyday life and sports games are not exempt from being impacted by it for sure.

Season ticket members can use the "no ticket goes unused" program and obtain the same number of tickets they have on account for May 14 for another Gotham FC home match this season. Group ticket customers can exchange their tickets for May 14 for another Gotham FC home match this season. Ticketmaster customers should contact Ticketmaster directly for options they can provide.
Gotham FC will now open up its home slate on Sunday, May 22 against Racing Louisville FC. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m. ET. Tickets can be purchased by visiting GothamFC.com/tickets.
The game will also be aired live on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Twitch internationally.
