Red Bulls Arena: Gotham FC v. Angel City FC Sun. July 2, 2023

Angel City FC is set to face off against NJ/NY Gotham FC this Sunday, July 2 2023, at 5:30 p.m. This rematch of the season's home opener will mark the teams' fourth encounter overall. Last year, both teams won once each, and earlier this year, Gotham managed to clinch a victory with a score of 2-1.

Presently, Gotham stands fifth in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) conference, with a 6-4-3 (W-L-D) record. Angel City, on the other hand, is in eleventh place, sporting a 3-6-4 (W-L-D) record.

Gotham has shown a robust performance with their key players, like Lynn Williams and Kristie Mewis. However, Williams, their leading scorer, and Mewis, one of their top playmakers, are set to leave for the US Women's National Team camp..

Angel City On Positive Streak

Angel City, meanwhile, is on a positive streak after breaking a four game losing streak with a win and a subsequent tie game. The team is growing stronger and more connected, which is reflected in their recent performances. Despite some initial struggles, they have shown significant improvement in their last two games.

Angel City's home games are usually held at Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles, now known as the BMO stadium which is a state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadium that holds 22,000 fans. . NJ/NY Gotham FC, meanwhile, plays their home matches at Red Bull Arena located in Harrison, NJ. Both of these venues are top notch state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadiums.

It is not clear whether the Harrison Police Department is going to issue a Red Bulls Traffic Bulletin.  The Harrison Police Department did not issue a Red Bulls Traffic Bulletin for the Friday CONCACAF Gold Cup Doubleheader Games which started at 7:30 p.m. There was a lot of traffic in Harrison during the Friday night rush hour in Harrison.

Busy July 2023 Red Bull Arena Events

June 2023 was a busy month for the Red Bulls Arena.  July is even busier with eleven events scheduled for the month.  This week in addition to the  Gotham FC v. Angel City FC, there is the 4th of July Concacaf Gold Cup Double Header Games of Guantamala v. Guadeloupe and Costa Rica v. Martinique. The weekend of July 8th & 9th there will be back-to-back soccer games on Saturday and Sunday with the Red Bulls taking on the New England Revolution on Saturday and Gotham FC taking on Portland Thorns on Sunday.
