Red Bulls 2023 Opening Game Sat. 3/4 7:30 PM
Mar 04, 2023The New York Red Bulls are back for their Season Opener at their Home Stadium, Red Bulls Arena, in Harrison NJ. Fans are excited and looking forward to the new season meanwhile residents of Harrison NJ especially those in the Southern part of Town where the Red Bulls Arena is located are not as thrilled. Red Bulls games bring traffic and gridlock to the community and also the necessity to plan ahead as local bridges are closed leading to a longer commute back home. Truth be told, the Red Bulls games are not as bad as international games at the Red Bulls Arena which usually sell out and bring fans that have been described as enthusiastic boarding on fanatics for their chosen team.
The Red Bulls will be taking on the Nashville Soccer Club (Nashville SC) with a 7:30 p.m. start. Nashville SC joined the Major League Soccer club in 2020 and is based out of Nashville, Tennessee. The team is principally owned by John Ingram owner of Ingram Industries joined by other investors and partial owners the Turner family who also own discount stores, the Dollar General Stores.
Nashville SC’s home stadium is Geodis Park which seats 30,000 soccer fans and is a soccer-specific stadium located at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee. The stadium opened last year on May 1, 2022, with the Nashville SC home team facing the Philadelphia Union.
