Red Bulls take on Charlotte FC on Sun. Oct. 9, 2022 Traffic Alert

The New York Red Bulls will be taking on the Charlotte FC team at the Red Bulls Arena in Harrison NJ on Sunday. October 9, 2022, with a 2:30 p.m. start.  It is Fan Appreciation Day.  The first 10,000 Fans through the door will get a New York Red Bulls T-Shirt courtesy of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The Charlotte FC team is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina some ten hours by car from Harrison NJ’s Red Bull Arena.  Charlotte FC is owned by David Tepper.  Mr. Tepper began the franchise at the end of 2019.  The team only started playing in 2022 due to the Covid pandemic breakout in March of 2020.

The Charlotte FC team play at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.  The Bank of America Stadium is also home to the NFL’s Carlolina Panthers which is also owned by David Tepper. The Stadium can hold up to 74,479 persons but it reduces the number of seats available to 38,000 for soccer matches.

Tickets for the Red Bulls versus Charlotte FC game are available on Ticketmaster. 

A traffic alert has been issued by the Harrison Police Department indicating that there is an anticipated 16,000 attendees to be present at the Red Bulls Stadium.
