The Harrison Public Schools Summer Swim Program is a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy the summer, stay active, and learn valuable swimming skills. The program promises a safe, fun, and educational experience for all participants.
There is also a swimming pool at the Washington Middle School (the former Harrison High School) but it is not clear whether that Pool will also be utilized as part of the Harrison Public Schools Summer Swim Program. Washington Middle School is more centrally located on the corner of Harrison Avenue and North 5th Street than the Harrison High School which is located on the corner of Kingsland and Hamilton Street. Most of the residents of the new apartment buildings in the Harrison Redevelopment Zone had facilities which include a swimming pool but not all the modern apartment buildings have a swimming pool.
