St. Patrick's Parade: San Xoan Pipe Band from Galicia Spain

A special treat from Galacia Spain, San Xon Pipe Band, marched at the United Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade in Harrison.  Former Harrison 2nd Ward Councilman Anselmo MIllan marched in front of the sixty member pipe band as it made its way up Frank E. Rodgers Blvd. in route to the Kearny Town Hall.  Millan has brought other bagpipe bands to Harrison throughout the last twenty-five years. In 2017, Banda de Gaitas from LLacin Asturias Spain marched and performed in the 2017 St. Patrick's Day Parade not only in the United Irish St. Patrick's Day parade but in the Bayoone NJ Parade and the New York City Parade. The San Xon Pipe Band were co-sponsored by Bernardo Riveiro and Anselmo Millan.
