Old Business

This involves property located on Block 156, Lot 1, and Block 131, Lot 17 in the Town of Harrison, NJ. The project has been a subject of ongoing discussion, focusing on the removal of a planned underground parking garage and changes to a multi-level parking garage diagonally across from the apartment building located on South 5th Street between Sussex and Bergen Streets across from the Harrison Plaza Mall
New Business
The meeting will also cover new business:
Case #24-02: An application from Angel & Veronica Coronel for a minor subdivision of property located at 9-11 Seventh Street, Block 160, Lot 25. This proposal involves dividing the existing property, and the board will review the implications for local zoning laws, community impact, and compliance with town regulations.
Following the discussion of new business, the meeting will be adjourned, subject to the call of the chair.
Residents of Harrison are encouraged to attend the Planning Board meeting to stay informed about local developments and participate in community decision-making. The repeated cancellations of the Redevelopment Agency meetings highlight the need for residents to stay engaged and aware of ongoing changes and challenges in the town's redevelopment efforts.
The next scheduled Harrison Redevelopment Agency meeting is Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Harrison Town Hall on the Third Floor Conference Room. The Mayor & Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2024, with a 6:15 p.m. start at the Harrison Town Hall on the Third Floor Conference Room unless the room gets too crowded then it will be moved to the Mayor & Council chambers on the 2nd Floor of the Harrison Town Hall where it was traditionally held for years before this last years change to the Third Floor Conference Room.
