Holiday Cheer at Centro Romeu Cascaes:Toy Drive & Breakfast With Santa

The Centro Romeu Cascaes Portuguese American Community Center in Harrison, NJ, is embracing the spirit of giving and joy this holiday season with two special events designed to bring the community together while spreading cheer to those in need.

Toy Drive in Partnership with Tomorrow’s Children Fund

This year, the Centro Romeu Cascaes is teaming up with Tomorrow’s Children Fund to collect new toys and gift cards for children battling cancer. Tomorrow’s Children Fund supports families of young patients, ensuring that children up to 18 years old can experience the joy of the holiday season.

Donations of shiny new toys or gift cards can be dropped off at the Centro Romeu Cascaes Portuguese American Community Center, located at 14 North Frank E. Rodgers Blvd. in Harrison, NJ. Contributions will be accepted during regular business hours through Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Breakfast With Santa

Kick off your holiday festivities with a magical morning at the Centro Romeu Cascaes’ Breakfast With Santa, scheduled for Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

For just $15 per ticket, adults and children aged six and older can enjoy:

• A scrumptious breakfast buffet.
• A photo with Santa Claus.
• An opportunity to write and mail a Letter to Santa in his special mailbox.

Children under six attend for free when accompanied by a parent, and students enrolled in the Centro Romeu Cascaes Portuguese School can join the fun for just $10 per student.
