Lights, Camera, Action: WHATCo. Announces One Acts Festival Auditions

This eagerly awaited event promises an eclectic mix of stories, characters, and themes, offering something for every theatre lover.
Audition Details at a Glance:
- Auditions: Audtions will be held in person on Sunday April 14th, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at WhatCo.’s Headquaters & Theatre (address above) .In a nod to accessibility and inclusivity, WHATCo. welcomes virtual auditions. Aspiring participants are invited to submit a 1-minute monologue, their resume, and an audition form to [email protected] by Saturday, April 13th, 2024 opening the door to talent far and wide.
- Location: WHATCo. Headquarters & Theatre, 15 Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard South, Harrison, NJ. Parking is available in the fenced lot at Jersey Street, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all participants. Parking is also available on the street and at the Harrison Parking Garage by the Harrison Path Station. It is within walking distance from the Harrison Path Station.
- Performance Dates: Mark your calendars for Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, at 7:30 pm. These performances are set to captivate audiences with a series of one-act plays, each bringing its unique flavor to the stage.
- Rehearsal Schedule: Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled from 6:00-10:00 pm on Monday & Tuesday, April 29, April 30, 2024, and Monday through Thursday, May 6-9, 2024 with Tech Week running from Monday through Thursday, May 13-16, 2024. Notably, not all actors will be called for every rehearsal, with final schedules tailored by each director to ensure efficient and focused preparation.

- "The Experience" by Clinton Festa and The Meadow by Ryan Kaminski, among others, offer roles from a celebrating couple to a private investigator, showcasing the festival's wide thematic range.
