Miss New Jersey Victoria Mozitis Celebrates St. Patrick Day Parade
Mar 20, 2024The reigning Miss New Jersey Victoria Mozitis, added a touch of royalty to the United Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade. The 22-year-old Northfield native, known for her dazzling smile and commendable achievements, rode through the parade in a convertible, waving to the crowds and celebrating the rich Irish heritage that thrives in New Jersey.
Victoria, a graduate of Rider University, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Magna Cum Laude and a minor in Arts and Entertainment Industries Management in 2023. Her academic journey is adorned with accolades, including the Baccalaureate Honors Program Scholar recognition, a Rider University Presidential Scholarship, and membership in Zeta Tau Alpha.
Her dedication to community service shines through her initiative, “LEAP: Literacy Enhancement, Artistry, and Performance.” With a mission to improve literacy worldwide, Victoria’s efforts aim at empowering individuals through education, a cause she passionately advocates for alongside The African Library Project. Through her program, she envisions a world where literacy and arts education pave the way for a united, creative, and intellectually rich future.
Victoria’s connection to the stage is just as impressive as her academic and philanthropic endeavors. She received the Overall Talent Preliminary Scholarship during the 2023 Miss New Jersey Competition for her vocal performance, marking a high note in her professional musical theatre career that began at the tender age of 13. Her repertoire includes performing the National Anthem at the 2015 US Open Tennis Championship, starring as Beth in "Little Women" at The Eagle Theatre, and participating in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, among other notable appearances.
