Unity & Valor: VFW Wilson Gugelman Post #1302 St. Patrick Day Parade

In a moving display of unity and community spirit, veterans from the Wilson Gugelman Post #1302 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) took part in the United Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 10, 2024. The veterans and members of the organization carrying flags and adorned with their medals and ribbons, marched proudly among the floats and bands celebrating Irish heritage, demonstrating the bonds that tie the community together across different backgrounds. 

The Wilson Gugelman Post #1302 VFW lodge, stationed at 300 Belgrove Drive in Kearny, has long been a cornerstone of the local community. This post provides veterans with a place of camaraderie, support, and service, upholding the VFW's mission to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts and to serve our veterans, the military, and our communities. It stands as a beacon for those who have served the nation, offering various programs and initiatives aimed at supporting veterans and their families. 

As the community of Kearny came together to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the inclusion of the veterans from Post #1302 added a profound sense of gratitude and respect to the festivities.
