Visitation Friday at Holy Cross for Fallen Firefighter Vincent J. Doffont, Jr.
Mar 25, 2022Tributes for Harrison Fire Fighter Vincent J. Doffont Jr. have been posted online on Facebook, Instagram, and the Mulligan Funeral Home page. The tributes are not just from family, friends, fellow firefighters and elected officials but also National organizations such as the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation located in the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
Visitation will be held in the Holy Cross Church in Harrison under the stewardship of the Mulligan Funeral Home of Harrison. Visitation will take place from 3 pm to 8 pm on Friday and the Funeral will be at the church on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
It is expected that a large contingency of Firefighters from neighboring towns and from throughout the State of New Jersey and other states will be in attendance. After the Mass, a funeral procession will go up Frank E. Rodgers Blvd along Kearny Avenue en route to the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington for a graveside service and burial.

Please be aware that there will be street closures and traffic delays due to those wishing to support Firefighter Doffont's wife, children and family and to pay respect to him for his service not only to the Armed Services of the United States as a Soldier but as a Hudson County Sheriff, Harrison Police Officer, and Firefighter.
